Molt browser extension · Last updated 5 July 2026

Molt ("we", "the extension") helps you bulk-delete your own posts on X (x.com / twitter.com). We built it to collect as little as possible. This policy explains exactly what happens with data.

What Molt does NOT collect

What Molt does send

To enforce the free daily limit and to unlock paid "Lifetime" access, the extension talks to our own server (molt.ankurai.com) and sends only:

The deletion itself happens entirely in your browser by clicking X's own buttons. No post data ever leaves your device.

Local storage

Molt stores your settings, license status, and the random install id in your browser's local extension storage. You can clear it anytime by removing the extension.

Payments

Purchases are processed by Dodo Payments, our Merchant of Record. When you buy, Dodo collects your email and billing details to process the transaction and comply with tax law. Molt never sees your card details. See Dodo's privacy policy.

Data retention

Daily usage counters auto-expire within 2 days. License records persist while your Lifetime access is active.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data tied to you, there is nothing personal to export or delete on our side. For payment/invoice matters, contact Dodo Payments. For anything else, email us.

Not affiliated with X

Molt is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp. "X" and "Twitter" are trademarks of their respective owners.
